About David
David Smith is a four-year U.S. Marine Corps veteran who served during Desert Storm. He brings over 30 years of experience in management, employee training, and leadership development across multiple industries. Throughout his career, David has held key roles including Manager, Training and Development Manager, Area Manager, and Market Manager with Valvoline.
In addition to his corporate leadership background, David is the co-owner of Total Outsourcing Logistics LLC, a trucking company he built alongside his wife. As both a Board Member and Advisor, David provides strategic guidance and real-world insight to support the International Youth Initiative’s mission of preparing youth for long-term success through leadership, workforce development, and entrepreneurship.
